About Xylan
The configuration of the Xylan is quite involved. Find the IP Routing chapter in the manual and read it. You can configure the switch as a router by routing between VLANs. Our trusty lab assistants claim they configured the Xylan as a router in less than 10 minutes. Use the straight DB-9 shell. Serial parameters are the usual 8-1-none-none.
