Tiara was established in 1997 and quickly became a leading network device manufacturer during the late 90s. Their routers are known in the telecommunications industry because their devices can offer a wide coverage and better control for their clients. Their routers are also known to implement multi-link access which allows stable connection even with heavy data requests from various users. The company changed its name to Tasman Networks in 2002 and was eventually acquired by Nortel in 2005.
