In 1982 McDonnell and partners founded what we all know as McData Corporation. The company designs and develops products and services that aid organizations all over the world to develop data infrastructures. The company is a major manufacturer of quality products such as high-tech routers, Fiber channel IP among others. Between 2005 and 2007, two significant changes took effect; McData acquired CNT, and later the company itself was acquired by Brocade Communications.
