About Linksys
Linksys was founded in 1988 by Victor and Janie Tsao. It grew to become a leading brand in the production of network devices. Particularly very popular till date are Linksys broadband and wireless routers.
Cisco took over the company and the brand in 2003. In 2008, Cisco rebranded Linksys into Linksys by Cisco.
